Toujours blessé suite à une mauvaise réception d’un saut en Estonie, Daniel Barritt cédera sa place de copilote à la droite de Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) during the Rally of Ypres (August 13-15). The Englishman Keaton Williams is the lucky one:
I am delighted to announce that I will compete on @ypresrally With @TakamotoKatsuta and @TGR_WRC
It's been a lifelong dream to compete at the top of the WRC, so I’m very grateful for this opportunity 😃
Thank you for everyone’s kind messages, and speedy recovery Dan! 💪🏼 pic.twitter.com/zR3FR2THoH

“We decided that Ypres was too early and there was not enough time to prepare Daniel's body. After Estonia, he felt some pain and fatigue in his neck, Katsuta said. Now he is doing well and getting better every day. I will go to Ypres with Keaton Williams, who has tested with me three times this year, so I know him quite well. Of course, it’s going to be a big challenge for both of us because it’s his first time at this level.”
Keaton Williams previously competed in theERC and WRC3 with Irishman Josh McErlean.
