Author of the scratch in the previous special, Quentin Giordano (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) followed up with a new best time which allowed him to make a jump in the provisional ranking, going from 6th to 4th place.
Distraught after his exit in SS 8, Nicolas Ciamin (i20 N Rally2-Hyundai 2C Compétition) set the second fastest time ahead of Cédric Robert (A110 Rally-Team Bonneton HDG).
William Wagner (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) remained on a good pace with the fourth fastest time. Already in management mode, Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) was in sixth place behind Hugo Margaillan (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) who admitted to having difficulty “letting go”.
Anthony Cosson (Porsche 991 GT3 Cup), struggling on the ropes, set the seventh fastest time and saw Giordano supplant him in the provisional standings.
