Croatia, SS1 – Ogier from the start
The first special of Rally of Croatia 2023, this Friday April 21, smiled at Sébastien Ogier (Toyota). Parti en 1e place en raison de sa position de leader au championnat, le Français a déjà créé d’importants écarts en à peine 19 km.
Alone Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a maintenu le contact en lâchant seulement 2″6. Pour les autres concurrents, la route recouverte de graviers et le souvenir de leur défunt ami Craig Breen weighed heavily in the balance. Drivers like Esapekka Lappi (Hyundai) looked sad while talking to WRC TV after the special arrives.
