Croatia – SS14: Lappi continues, Breen not comfortable

In difficulty since the end of the morning on the second stage of the Rally de Croatie 2022, Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) a apporté une réponse face au retour d’Ott Tänak (Hyundai) sur la 14e spéciale disputée sur route sèche.

The leader of the World Rally Championship (WRC) increased his lead to 14”8 over his Estonian opponent. The afternoon was dominated in pure rhythm by Esapekka Lappi (Toyota), restarted under the Rally 2 rule following a collision with a rock on Friday. The Finn signs his third scratch time of the day.

Engine problems in the Hyundai i20 Thierry Neuville seem forgotten because the Belgian took back important seconds on Craig Breen (M-Sport Ford). L’Irlandais sent le souffle de Thierry Neuville dans son dos car il ne dispose plus que de 5’’9 de marge dans la lutte pour la troisième position.
