Jean-Marie Cuoq (Focus WRC) finished the day in the lead at the end of the second stage of the Rally du Rouergue where the new leader signed all the scratches in the day's specials. Stéphane Sarrazin (307 WRC) finished 21 seconds behind the race leader. Jean-Michel Da Cunha (C4 WRC) completes the provisional podium 51 seconds behind the driver Peugeot . Cédric Robert and Freddy Loix (207 S2000) complete the top five after the retirement of Dany Snobeck who saw his C4 WRC catch fire on SS9.
