Jean-Marie Cuoq wins his first French Rally Champion title by winning the Rally des Cévennes, his second victory of the season, at the wheel of his Ford Focus WRC. The four-time Gravel Rally champion is several minutes ahead of Julien Maurin's Fiesta WRC while the 206 WRC of Jean-François Mourgues completes the final podium. Germain Bonnefis seemed on course to take fourth place, but an alternator problem caused him to retire before the start of the last special stage of the event. Boris Carminati inherits this position with his Renault Clio R3C et remporte le Groupe R. Patrick Rouillard complète le top cinq à 21 secondes de retard sur sa Porsche 997 GT3. Kris Princen prend la sixième place sur sa Clio R3C en devançant de 24 secondes la Subaru Impreza N15 de Jean Nicolas Hot.
