The criminal court of Fontainebleau (Seine-et-Marne) sentenced this Monday, November 14, the vehicle rental company OMA based in Chailly-en-Bière for involuntary manslaughter following the death of Philippe Bugalski after providing the three-time French Rally champion with defective equipment.
Philippe Bugalski died on August 10, 2012 in a cherry picker accident while he was pruning a tree on the property in Vaudoué. The convicted company will have to pay €326 in damages to his family.
