Romain Dumas is crazy about driving. Circuit, rally, rally raid, hill climb, nothing puts him off. The Alésien will be faithful to his reputation and will compete in the 62nd edition of the Critérium des Cévennes (October 28-31, Hérault), with his friend Denis Giraudet on his right. The pilot of the Team Cameron Glickenhaus Endurance chose a BMW M3 Group A prepared in its RD Limited workshops at the Pole Mécanique d'Alès (Gard).
Toutefois, le recordman de la montée de Pikes Peak s’attaquera à un sacré challenge, car sa voiture ancienne est inscrite… au classement moderne, et pas en VHC ! C’est la première fois que Romain Dumas pilotera une berline allemande autre qu’une Porsche aux Cévennes. Voici ses résultats dans l’épreuve : 2008 (1er GT10 sur une Porsche 996 GT3), 2009 (1er GT10, Porsche 996 GT3), 2010 (abandon, Porsche 997 Cup), 2011 (8e scratch, 1er GT, Porsche 997 Cup), 2013 (PGO, abandon) et 2014 (1er VHC, Porsche 911 SC).
