Engaged in ERC this season at the wheel of a Ford Fiesta Rally2, he finished in 6th place with 59 points on the clock. Erik Cais will reach a new level in his career from 2022. On his social networks, the Czech announced his participation in WRC2 from next year. Loyal to his stable, he will participate in the Rally of Monte-Carlo next January. The rest of his program is not yet known.

This is not the first time that the young 22-year-old driver will ride in this category. Last weekend of October 14, Erik Cais had already driven in WRC2 during the Rally of Catalonia, and he finished on the podium.
