SS13 Touquet – First for Léo Rossel

After the cancellation of SS12, the competitors joined the start of the penultimate special of the Rally du Touquet 2023. The wet conditions put the drivers' nerves to the test.

ROBERT: “It’s not even funny at this point…”

Yoann Bonato thought he would finally hold a special, but that was without counting on the enthusiasm of Léo Rossel. The young PH Sport by Minerva Oil driver won SS13 by just 5 tenths ahead of the four-time French champion.

ROSSEL: “I love this sport. We changed a few things on the car and I really like it. »

Bonato took the opportunity to come back to within 1 tenth of William Wagner. The fight for the podium is going to be wild in the last special!

No madness in these last kilometers for Nicolas Ciamin, but there is no question of slowing down since the leader of the general classification completes this SS13 in 7th position, less than 8 seconds behind Rossel.

CIAMIN: “A lot of aquaplaning. We didn't make any mistakes."

The start of SS14 is scheduled for 17:07 p.m.
