Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) and Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford) set the best time in the Firstplan special, completing the 16,5km course in 8:16:3. Petter Solberg (Citroën) is 2??3 ahead of Dani Sordo (+ 3??3). Mikko Hirvonen (Ford) finished 15??7 from the scratch.
But the Ford driver, author of the scratch with Sébastien Ogier, received a ten-second penalty for having anticipated his departure.
Pierre Campana (Mini) remains on a good pace by setting the eighth time on the course, 16”4 off the reference time.
Sébastien Ogier increases his lead in the Rally from France-Alsace at 4??2 on Dani Sordo. Petter Solberg (Citroën) protects his third place by setting the pace of Jari-Matti Latvala, who is now 50 seconds behind the Norwegian.
