Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia (Toyota) have found a smile again. The French have finally found satisfactory settings on their Yaris WRC and the performances are reflected, with a scratch time in the longest special of the day.
The six-time world champions erased the threat posed by Elfyn Evans (Toyota) in the general classification, but more importantly, they are closing in on 2nd place occupied by Craig Breen (Hyundai). The latter is in “management” mode so as not to damn the pawn to his teammate and leader Ott Tänak.
