Thierry Neuville (Citroën) signs its first scratch of the weekend by completing the soggy 7,3km Burnside / WECh Access special in 4'13"6. “I feel the car really well. Four soft tires would have been preferable but I am satisfied with my time”, comments the Belgian who directly benefits from the team instructions installed between Sébastien Loeb and Mikko Hirvonen.

Qatar WRT driver ahead by six tenths Ott Tänak (Ford) and 1”1 Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford). Petter Solberg (Ford) also reduced the pace by finishing 2” from the scratch like Dani Sordo (Mini). “It's very muddy in places, the rear was dragging quite a bit in certain corners. I don't want to take any risks.", explains the 2003 world champion.

Sébastien Loeb and Mikko Hirvonen (Citroën) are still more than a minute ahead of Petter Solberg. Evgeny Novikov is now 31 seconds behind the Norwegian while Ott Tänak is 17 seconds behind the Russian. Thierry Neuville is still almost 23 seconds behind the Estonian.
