Finland – SS19: Tänak already on the attack

The fourth day has barely begun when the two protagonists of the Rally of Finland are already in the battle. Ott Tänak a été le plus rapide de l’ES19 avec un chrono de 5’19″5. In addition to the two leaders, the other drivers secure their positions while waiting for the Power Stage. Thierry Neuville (3e, +7″6) a montré un bon rythme et a même surclassé trois Toyota, celles de Lappi (4e, +9″7), Evans (5e, +10″5) et Katsuta (6e, +11″4).

Comme depuis le début du rallye, ce sont les M-Sport qui ferment la marche. De retour sur la piste après son abandon samedi, Craig Breen (7th, +13″5) was the fastest of the 5 Fords entered despite its opening position on the special. The two French Adrien fourmaux (10th, +15″6) and Pierre-Louis Loubet (11th, +21″1) were the slowest on this 19th stage, suffering with a lack of grip.
