More than a special for Ott Tänak ! The Estonian held his own against Kalle Rovanperä in SS21, the penultimate stage of the Rally of Finland, and only conceded 3 tenths to the Finnish driver. Rovanperä was the fastest with a time of 5’17”6. Overall, Tänak remains exactly 10 seconds ahead of the championship leader before the Power Stage (12:18 p.m.).

If only the body of the Yaris appeared to be affected, Lappi will have to carry out an examination of his car before the start of the last special. With a broken windshield, it's hard to imagine the Toyota driver seeking points on the Power Stage. Points that will be sought on the other hand Thierry Neuville (3rd, +2″0), who spent his morning preparing for this final special in Finland.
In the rest of the field, no change in the general classification. Pierre-Louis Loubet (10, +11″0) is still 8th, whileAdrien fourmaux (8th, +8″1) is still outside the top 20.
