Finland – SS4: Tänak and Lappi continue their duel

We have barely finished the 4th special when a first duel emerges for the lead. Rally from Finland. Ott Tänak dominated SS4 with a time of 5″19″9, just 4 tenths ahead of his main rival today, Esapekka Lappi. Overall, the Estonian regains a little lead over the Finn. Behind, the top 7 of the special is the same as the top 7 overall at the end of this SS4.

Elfyn Evans (3e, +1″1) continue de s’accrocher au duo de tête, avec 10″3 de retard Tänak au général. Le Gallois devance la première M-Sport, that of Craig Breen (4th, +2″3) and Kalle Rovanperä (5th, +2″5). The championship leader is 13″3 behind Ott Tänak overall after 4 special stages.

Very far behind, Adrien fourmaux was able to restart after his steering broke during SS3. But the Frenchman still lost a lot of time by being deprived of his power steering, which could not be completely repaired during service.
