Finland – SS7: Tänak continues his momentum

Ott Tänak continues to push at the head of the Rally de Finlande. L’Estonien a remporté sa 3e spéciale de la journée sur l’ES7 avec un temps en 5’42″5. Le pilote Hyundai conforte son avance au général devant Esapekka Lappi (2e, +2″1), désormais relégué à 8″3. Le Finlandais mène une meute de Toyota : Rovanperä (3e, +2″2), Evans (4e, +4″2) et Katsuta (5e, +6″7) complètent le top 5.

Thierry Neuville a été une nouvelle fois en retrait par rapport à son coéquipier, et a échoué à 6″7 de Tänak. Derrière, les Ford de l’équipe M-Sport ont souffert et ont signé les 5 moins bons temps dans la catégorie Rally1. Craig Breen lost a lot of time at the end of the special and conceded 10″1 to Ott Tänak. The Irishman, who suspected contact with a rock, lost his 4th place to Kalle Rovanperä. Jari Huttunen (8th, +9″2) moved up to 8th place overall ahead of Pierre-Louis Loubet.
