Harri Rovanperä returns to competition

A Rovanperä engaged in rally, this is not surprising, Kalle Rovanperä walks the paths of the World Championship (WRC) pour le compte du Toyota Gazoo Racing depuis 2020 et a déjà remporté deux manches en 2021. Mais quand il s’agit du père, Harri, là c’est une surprise !

In fact, the former official pilot Peugeot and Seat in WRC at the turn of the 2000s is entered in the Guanajuato Nations Rally, which will take place in Mexico from April 1 to 3. This is not a joke; after all, the Finn is only 55 years old!

His last rally appearance was at the 2014 San Marino Rallylegend at the wheel of a Peugeot 206 WRC. Funny fact, he had already won the Rallye des Nations in 2002 with the Lion city car.

This event serves as an evaluation round with the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) so that the Rally of Mexico regains its place in the WRC calendar from 2023.
