An end of rally “belly to the ground” for the furious ones in front. Mickaël Reydellet set the last time, for fun, because Nicolas Hernandez had nailed his grip well and didn't intend to give up like that. In the end, the positions were well sealed from the second loop this Sunday. By reacting strongly, Nicolas Hernandez, even if in small steps, posed as boss, casting doubt on Mickaël Reydellet as to his chances of turning things around. A psychological war on the asphalt marked by great respect between the two men. Bruno Longépé, a fine connoisseur, knowing that he could not change this hierarchy, endeavored to preserve the 3rd step of the podium. Jean Charles Beaubelique, positioned at 4rd place, is rather satisfied with this result, as can Eddie Lemaître. Everyone agrees that the rally is magnificent and the field of this 19rd edition worthy of a French championship in its quality. The pilots put on a magnificent and high-level show.

In the groups and classes, we will remember the very beautiful performance of Arthur Beylard, extraordinary 9rd scratch on its Renault Twingo and winner of the 2-wheel drive ranking of the Michelin Rally Tour.

He is a fast, talented and promising young man. We may talk about him again in the years to come.

Nicolas Hernandez: I needed to regain confidence in myself. After a rally as crazy as that, an extreme fight, I admit that I am extremely happy with this result and of course I have regained all my motivation.

Mickaël Reydellet: Nico is a great driver, he goes very fast and he deserves the victory. I had a big lack of self-confidence, probably the aftermath of my outing at Montagne Noire, and lost time can never be made up for… especially against Nico.

Bruno Longépé: They drove like planes. I am in my place and satisfied with this result. I just want to mention that this rally is magnificent. There is everything we love about our sport. Plus there was a great set.
