He was a figure of rally hexagonal, whose heights he reached in the mid-70s. Jacques Henry died last weekend at the age of 74. Having attended the Magny-Cours driving school, it was in rallying that the native of Lure (Haute-Saône) made his debut in the 60s.

With the legendary Berlinette Alpine A110, he became French champion in 1974 and 1975 and achieved some leading performances at world level, taking 5th place in Corsica and 6th at Monte-Carlo in 1975.

Father of Patrick, French Rally champion on a Peugeot 307 WRC, Jacques Henry was also very involved at the local level, within the ASA Luronne of which he was one of the founders. AUTOhebdo extends its sincere condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.
