Jérémi Ancian wins the Prologue of the Final

The reactions of the drivers were unanimous at the finish of the Prologue: no grip, it was slipping, no grip,… The North was in fact adorned with drizzle for this first non-classification special of the Final of the Coupe de France des 2022 rallies.

In these perilous conditions, the old 207 steering wheel Peugeot , Jérémi Ancian honored his status as favorite by signing the best time with 1,5 seconds ahead of Thomas Chauffray and 2,5 seconds over Mickael Reydellet. This special being contested outside the classification and only serving to establish the starting order, one might think that the times had little importance in the end since this afternoon the counters will be reset to zero. Judging by the state of the roads after the first cars have passed, this will certainly not be the case and starting among the first will undoubtedly be a great advantage.
