Clearly, this is not the Rally Monte-Carlo that Pierre-Louis Loubet hoped for. The Frenchman had to end his day prematurely at the end of the first special stage this Saturday, SS9. At the very end of the stage, the driver M-Sport arrived with a little too much speed and hit the barrier on the outside of the corner, only a few meters before the timing line. Damaged rear link arm, broken hub support: the Corsican was forced to abandon, although no assistance will be available before the end of the day.

Already on Friday, Pierre-Louis Loubet had experienced a difficult day: after losing his power steering on SS5, the Frenchman decided to continue the rally and not give up. He therefore had to cover three special stages using arm strength and lost around ten minutes.

As the damage is not of exceptional magnitude, it is very likely to find Pierre-Louis Loubet at the start of the Monte-Carlo Rally on Sunday, in SuperRally, but with significant penalties.
