Kenya – SS17: Loeb signs scratch time, French hat-trick with Fourmaux and Ogier

If the leaders take their precautions to reach the finish without any problems, the drivers who have nothing left to play for continue to have fun. This is the case for Sébastien Loeb, who set the best time during SS17 in 9'05″7. The Frenchman signed his 2nd scratch time of the rally. He leads a French hat-trick, sinceAdrien fourmaux (2nd, +3″8) and Sébastien Ogier (3rd, +6″2) complete the top 3.

The three drivers at the top of the general classification continue to manage their lead and drive at low speed. Rovanperä is only 8th in the special, 21 seconds behind Loeb, while Evans conceded 26 seconds on the Frenchman's time.

Main information at the end of this special: the abandonment ofOtt Tänak on mechanical problem. The Estonian had to stop after the end of SS17 due to a problem with the power steering.
