Safari Rally Kenya standings, SS9:

General classification :

 

  • The start of the 2nd stage of Safari Rally Kenya 2024 is marked by the incisive driving of Thierry Neuville (Hyundai). The Belgian returned on the heels of Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) in the match for 2nd place following his special victory.
  • Elfyn Evans (Toyota) no longer appears on the provisional podium because he lost 2 minutes changing a wheel in the previous special staged early this morning.
  • At M-Sport Ford, Grégoire Munster chose to return directly to the service park and not leave it again for the day. The Luxembourger suffered a serious problem with his shock absorbers before the start of the SS.
  • The next stage, Sleeping Warrior, is scheduled for 8:03 a.m.
