Jordan Berfa handily signed his 3e victory in a row on the 37e edition Rally des Fenouillèdes with more than 3′ ahead of Clémençon, delayed from the start by small brake problems. On Saturday, Chivaydel (Ford Fiesta) was in contact, 12" after 2 SS, but he came out for the count in 3e chrono and, leaving Berfa without real opposition. Richard Génesca, leader of group A from start to finish and a time 2e, struggled with tires that were too hard on cold ground and it was Balihaut who hoisted his Clio RS3 F2000 in runner-up position before his engine, reduced to 3 cylinders, forced him to retire (SS 6). Arnaud Génesca, once anticipated with a Skoda, lined up his Subaru R4. At the cost of a good choice of night tires, on Saturday, he was in 3e position in front of the paternal Célica. 5e after SS 3, Vivens gave up the start of SS4. Humbert (208 VTI R2) took his place but went off the road on Sunday morning. While the podium seemed frozen, A. Génesca broke the bridge of his Subaru at the start of the penultimate special and Roca reached 4e place in front of Durand, author of a good comeback, on dry ground, Sunday afternoon. The local Nègre scored a superb victory in F2000 despite a faulty clutch at the end of the event. A. Lauret
