Big favorite of the event with already six victories on the clock, Laurent Lacomy took 7th despite the presence ofAdrien fourmaux, the 2018 French Junior champion and who came to prepare the rally from Finland. While Lacomy had signed the first two stage wins and had a 2" lead, Fourmaux's 208 T16 went off the road in SS3 and ended its race by mowing down the race marshals on duty who were on its trajectory. After the medical intervention to help the injured, the following special stage was canceled. At the end of the 1re stage, Lacomy came into the lead on Saturday evening with a 28” lead over Boissy, 37” over Esparcieux and Bérard. The next day, the leader signed only two stage wins, leaving Bérard to win three times to make the difference with Esparcieux. Following mechanical problems, Boissy did not finish the event, while Esparcieux's 3rd place was threatened until the end by Gassend who came back very strongly and fell short of the final podium by only 16''. Small consolation: victory in group A for this driver who was making his first run with this C4 WRC. Coming to seek points for the final, Fiori was 40” behind the group winner. In F2000, a duel pitted Perenon (205 GTI) against Jamet who returned with only 7/10e in advance after the 1re stage. The next day, Perenon set three best times but the crew was knocked out of the race before the final time; Jamet therefore won with a 40” lead over Morel. For group N, Latour was never worried, setting seven best group times to win with a 1′ lead over his closest opponent Cavalier (Clio Ragnotti). Dans le groupe GT+, un seul partant, Caillat (Porsche 997 GT3), qui terminait dans le Top 10. F. Lombard
