A winning time of Rally of Greece in WRC3 last September, Yohan Rossel was finally disqualified. During the traditional post-race visits, FIA officers found a front cradle of his Citroën C3 Rally2. Overweight » earning him immediate disqualification.
Four days after being decredited with his coronation at the Acropolis, Yohan Rossel filed an appeal to challenge the decision. While waiting, the Habs will be scheduled for November 9 for their hearing.
If he were to recover the 25 points from victory in Greece and the 3 from the Power Stage, the Frenchman would then regain a 15-point lead over his main rival, Kajetan Kajetanowicz, after the worst result is counted. This would therefore be enough to win the WRC3 title regardless of the result at Monza during the season finale.
