Laurent Bayard solid in the Champagne vineyards

For his 2nd race with his Fabia Rally2, Franc-Comtois Michaël Prévalet distinguished himself by setting the best time in the first special of the rally Epernay Champagne Wines. Béthunois Laurent Bayard (Fabia Rally2) took control of the event in 2 and never left it. He then achieved the best time while Prévalet went straight ahead. Bayard, in turn, had a heat in the 3 while Prévalet signed a 2nd scratch. 

In the 2nd loop, Bayard won SS 4 and 5. In the latter, he opened up a nice gap, while Doubien lost 13´´. Laurent Viana, with the only WRC at the start, marks the 2nd time of this SS; the 6th being won by Prevalet. 

In the night loop, Bayard confirms. He won SS 7 and 8 ahead of Prévalet who won the last time of the day. In the scratch, Bayard is in the lead ahead of Prévalet and Viana.
