The Michelin Rallye Tour passes through Lozère

A course highly appreciated by competitors © Anthony Segaud

Winner last year, Eric Rousset is not putting his title back on the line and will leave the field open for a fight which promises to be intense between a dozen Rally2s! Winner of the 2019 edition, Nicolas Hernandez is the favorite but watch out for Eddie Lemaître or Mickaël Reydellet. The latter had shown himself to be very lively before his abandonment last year...With 44 entrants, the FRC4 Group is the largest group. 3 Michelin competitors Rally Tour will take the start of this rally: Julien Croquet, Franck Castelbou and Tom Maslag. In VHC, around ten competitors will be at the start of the rally...and with no former VHC winner on the list.

All information on the ASA Lozère website

As for the course, we are on an almost copy and paste of the 2022 edition. The competitors will start on Saturday with the morning prologue of the Menhirs before making 2 passages in the afternoon in the long selective special stages of Pendedis-Le Raiol /The Pompidou. On Sunday, competitors will have 3 loops of 2 special stages to complete. The Les Bondons/Pont de Montvert stages are short but very selective. See you tomorrow morning at 8:40 a.m. for the start of hostilities on the Lozère specials.

As for the Michelin Rallye Tour, we will follow the performances of Julien Croquet (Peugeot 106), Franck Castelbou (Citroën Saxo) and Tom Maslag (Peugeot 106) over these two days of racing.
