Enhancing its aura on 40e anniversary of the event, the Citroën Racing driver, navigated for the occasion by his partner Coralie de Carli, logically flew over the debates on his native lands at the controls of a DS3 WRC from PH Sport. Discovering the driving of a WRC, Reydellet quickly moved into the runners-up seat by fending off the attacks of a formidable Taylor, leader of the classic British delegation. His compatriot Ling, rid of the threat Heuninck who left the scene in the turmoil of the last time, finished at the foot of the podium and distinguished himself in group R ahead of Saint Requier and Hendy, who had now moved to the Fiesta. Group N returned to Roussel after the setbacks at Heuninck. Abandonment at the end of 1re Perrin's stage left the field entirely open to his main opponent, Lacroix. Gonnet won in GT despite several adventures. B. Sailly
