Always very difficult for the crews and their horses, this event allowed the young Tourangeaux to pocket 11 of the 12 times, with only Jacob managing to win in the antepenultimate. With a comfortable lead, the spearheads of Team-FJ were able to monitor the battles that took place in their wake; the runner-up place went to an excellent Terrière who, for a handful of seconds, got the better of Jacob and his “home” 206 S16. Wagner largely won in group N against Sauteur (Megane RS). Despite a touch, Patier was able to finish in the GT group following the rapid retirement of the Lotus Exige from Limousin. Much earlier were the withdrawals of the R5 J.-L. Roché (Skoda) and Morin (Fiesta) or the Mitsubishi A8 of Purrey, playing at home. The mechanical breakdown of Longépé's 406 quickly deprived us of beautiful passages and a confrontation with the other animators of the F2000, starting with the BMW Compacts of Bordreie (mechanic) or Moinet which went out violently in the last kilometers. Laroche, 4th at the end of the first lap, had to give up, victim of the mechanics of his superb Punto Abarth. J. Teitgen
