From the 2020 season, the French Rally Championship will have a category reserved for Group R 2 Wheel Drives. This is the decision taken by the Steering Committee of the French Motor Sport Federation (FFSA), meeting on Wednesday July 3. In this classification, will be accepted cars meeting the RGT regulations (Porsche 911, Abarth 124 Rally), R3 (Renault Clio, Citroën DS3), R2 (Peugeot 208, Opel Adam, Ford Fiesta), R2 Junior and R1 (Renault Twingo, Ford Fiesta).
