If the appearance of the livery looks familiar, that's completely normal. On the occasion of the first meeting of the season WRC 2023 in Monte-Carlo from January 19 to 22, the Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy takes on the colors of a single-seater perfectly recognizable: that of the 7-Up Jordan 191, the first car of Formula 1 Jordan F1 to have participated in a Grand Prix. The Irish team which bears the name of Eddie Jordan operated on the circuits from 1991 to 2005. The first driver to enter the seat of the team is called Michael Schumacher, and the last… Jean Alesi.

Blue, green, and quite a symbol for the country's motorsport. So much so that the MI Rally Academy specifies that this association is regularly among the first cited when it comes to determining the most beautiful livery in history. Just that.

MI Rally Academy founder John Coyne is excited about this new look for the upcoming season: “ I always liked this appearancehe says. It sends the right message. This is the ideal color combination for an Irish team. This is not a direct copy, but a rather clever wink. »

The team's drivers, Josh McErlean and his co-driver John Rowan as well as William Creighton accompanied by Liam Regan, are described as " future of Irish motorsport ». Au volant de la Hyundai i20 Rally 2 bleue et verte, ils prendront part au rendez-vous monégasque pour la première fois.
