The second stage of rally des Vins Mâcon is off to a bad start for Jean-Marie Cuoq! While in the lead on Friday evening, the reigning French champion encountered mechanical problems with his Citroën C4 during SS7 and lost a dozen seconds to his great rival, Julien Maurin (Ford Fiesta WRC). The latter took the opportunity to regain the lead in the general classification and now has 11??7 of air between him and his pursuer. By securing the first scratch of the day, the fourth to his credit since the start of the rally, Eric Brunson is still 3rd, 27??6 behind the leader and 15??9 behind second.
