Julien Maurin (Fiesta WRC) keeps his head Rally du Var à l’issue de la première étape même si Romain Dumas (Porsche 997 GT3 RS) a pris brièvement les commandes. L’ancien vainqueur des 24 Hours of Le Mans is in second place, 21 seconds behind the leader, while Pierre Roché (Mini Countryman) completes the top three, almost a minute behind. Michel Boetti (Peugeot 207 S2000) has fallen to fourth place but remains at the top of the Michelin Trophy. Frédéric Comte leads the Citroën Racing Trophy with less than two seconds ahead of Cédric Robert. Loïc Astier leads the Junior category. Champion Yoann Bonato is in first place in the Opel Adam Cup. Manu Guigou is already a solid leader in the Trophy Renault R2 Twingo France. Florian Bernardi leads the R1.
