Engaged in his Skoda Fabia, the 2016 French champion left no hope to his opponents by signing all the scratch scores (9/9). Sylvain Michel won with more than 2′ ahead of Guillerot who finished like last year on the second step of the final podium and allowed Skoda to achieve a double. Author of a great fight between DS3, with Bonnefond who will have to abandon due to mechanical problems and Greiffenberg who will finally leave 3rd place overall by only 16'', Lacomy climbs onto the third step on the final podium and takes valuable points with a view to a possible qualification for the final. In the group F2000, Perenon fought a fierce battle with Morel and won by only 30''. In Group A, Sandona (Subaru Impreza) scored two stage wins but retired with mechanical problems after SS 4. He left Picton (Clio Williams) then Dauris take the lead, the latter winning in the end.

The Coarer (Subaru Impreza) erased the bad memory of 2016 (abandonment) and easily won group N by setting eight best times out of nine. In Group GT, Million-Brodaz, the only entry, scored a quiet victory. F. Lombard
