Jean-Marie Cuoq (Citroën C4 WRC) set the best time in the sixth special of Rally du Mont-Blanc, sixth round of the French Rally Championship. Cuoq is only 2″7 behind overall leader Julien Maurin (Ford Fiesta RS WRC), 2nd in this SS6. If the first two positions seem fixed, the fight for the podium has resumed between David Salanon and Lionel Baud. The two Fiesta RS are now only separated by 3”5 after this first timed sector of the day. Pierre Roché remains in 5th place with his Mini JCW WRC more than 30″ from the Baud – Salanon duo.
