After a first Saturday SS contested in wet conditions, the first competitors in action on SS8 Rally du Mont-Blanc – Morzine found milder conditions, before the rain made a small appearance again. Enough to allow Stéphane Sarrazin to set the best time at the wheel of his Ford Fiesta and to consolidate his lead in the general classification, now 15″ ahead of Lionel Baud’s Fiesta.
Jean-Marie Cuoq (Citroën C4) est revenu dans le rythme après une première spéciale plus difficile, en échouant à 3″ de Sarrazin sur cette ES8. L’Ardéchois consolide sa troisième place au classement du rallye avec plus de 24″ d’avance sur la Porsche 911 by Jérôme Chavanne.
