Lionel Baud (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) set the best time in SS9 of Rally du Mont-Blanc, sixth round of the French Rally Championship. He thus closed to 4″4 of third place from David Salanon (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) before the final time of the event. At the head of the rally, Julien Maurin (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) is heading towards new success this season, with a 40″ lead over the Citroën C2 WRC of Jean-Marie Cuoq. No changes in the promotion formulas, where Manu Guigou dominates Group R with the new Clio R4T, while Cédric Robert (Citroën Racing Trophy) and Gilles Nantet (Michelin Trophy) are at the head of their category.
We will have to watch the fight for the 208 Rally Cup, where Cyril Audirac only has a 4″ lead over Jérôme Chavanne.
