Monte-Carlo – SS12: The scratch for Rovanperä, Loeb grabs Ogier

Increasingly comfortable with his Yaris, Kalle Rovanperä took on his first special of the Rally Monte-Carlo and therefore of the season. On the SS12 course, the Finn set a nice time of 9’23″8 which allowed him to clear everyone out.

Second in the special, Sébastien Loeb was able to gain 4 tenths from Sébastien Ogier to reduce the gap. There are now 5 seconds separating the two French world champions. Gently for the recovery, Craig Breen clings to 3rd position overall but remains more than a minute behind the leading duo.
