Winner of his first special in this Monte-Carlo during SS12, Thierry Neuville followed up with a new scratch before the last start of the day.

The lunch break was definitely good for Thierry Neuville. Homme le plus rapide lors de l’ES12 pour la reprise, le Belge a enchaîné avec un deuxième meilleur temps. Sur la ligne, le pilote Hyundai a signé un chrono en 9’27″6 devançant Kalle Rovanperä de 2 dixièmes et Elfyn Evans de 3 secondes. Sébastien Ogier once again played it safe and let 3″9 slip away.

Overall, Thierry Neuville distances himself from Elfyn Evans who he now relegates to 22″5 in 3rd position. In charge since the start of this rally, Sébastien Ogier sees Kalle Rovanperä gradually approaching the 25 second mark. Currently, 25″8 separate the two men.
