Monte-Carlo – SS8: Neuville reduces his delay

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) has clearly reduced its delay on Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) in SS8 of Rally Monte-Carlo which closed the second stage. With a time of 13'25''5 at the end of the 18,47km, the Belgian reduced the gap which separates him from the leader of the event by 12 seconds. Ott Tänak (Toyota) was the closest with 7 seconds behind his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala and Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai).

Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) then followed at 14 seconds, but Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) let go more by conceding 22 seconds on the lead of the race. Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) and Kris Meeke (Toyota) were the slowest.

 

 

Sébastien Ogier retains the lead in the Monte-Carlo Rally at the end of the second day, but his lead is only 2 seconds over Thierry Neuville. Andreas Mikkelsen takes 3rd place with just over 7 seconds on Jari-Matti Latvala. The Finn also managed to regain the advantage over Sébastien Loeb who found himself 5th, 8 tenths behind the Yaris WRC. Elfyn Evans is in 6th place ahead of Ott Tänak and Kris Meeke.
