Stéphane Lefebvre received a 30-minute penalty at the Monte-Carlo Rally. He cedes the leading position in WRC2 to Andreas Mikkelsen.

Monte-Carlo – WRC2: Stéphane Lefebvre penalized, Andreas Mikkelsen leader

Several WRC2 crews suffered time penalties at Rally Monte-Carlo at the end of SS8 Val-de-Chalvagne / Entrevaux 2. Among them, Stéphane Lefebvre received 30 minutes for safety violations. Its ushers indeed returned to the special while it was still in progress. The Frenchman thus cedes the lead of the event to Andreas Mikkelsen. Yohan Rossel also received a 5 minute 50 penalty for a delay at the checkpoint at the end of the special. As a reminder, Eric Camilli was forced to retire in this category.
