There were no big issues in terms of time on this very short special, but this first passage of the day in Jacks Ridge was of major importance knowing that the points-rich Power Stage will be contested on this same route.

After a remarkable appearance by Oliver Solberg, the leaders of the ranking were able to discover this playing field.

That was possibly the highest jump of my life on SS15 🤯 I had it down in my notes as flat but probably not the right choice 😅 it was very cool though!! @OfficialWRC

Ott Tänak clearly set out with this in mind and delighted the 15 spectators present along the route. Between endless slides and monstrous jumps, the Estonian sought the limits in each turn, which he recognized upon arrival: “I went a little too far in certain sections and we came close to crashing. Much more cautious, Kalle Rovanperä gives up 1″7 but takes second place ahead Sébastien Ogier at 4″1.
