He may well be the youngest world champion in the history of WRC, Kalle Rovanperä garde les pieds sur terre. Alors qu’il avait l’opportunité de troquer son habituel N°69 pour le N°1 (exclusivement réservé au champion du monde en titre), le pilote du Toyota Gazoo Racing a décidé de ne rien changer.

The case of Kalle Rovanperä is not new. Crowned champion in 2019 with Toyota also, Ott Tänak avait lui aussi fait l’impasse sur le N°1 pour la saison 2020, sa première avec Hyundai. À l’époque il s’agissait d’une première dans l’histoire du WRC.
