Portugal, SS1 – Neuville first leader

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) took the lead Rally of Portugal 2022 at the end of the short first special staged on Thursday, May 19 in the evening. Over barely 3 km, the Belgian was ahead of his Estonian teammate Ott Tänak and the Irish Craig Breen (M-Sport Ford).

For his return to WRC after his freelance at Monte-Carlo, Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) a signé le cinquième temps. Le nonuple champion du monde des rallyes Sébastien Loeb (M-Sport Ford) is in eighth place, but the gaps are minimal before the actual start of the event this Friday, May 20 at 9 a.m., to be followed live with commentary on AUTOhebdo.fr.
