Portugal, SS10 – Loubet at fault!
Que c’est cruel pour Pierre-Louis Loubet et Nicolas Gilsoul (M-Sport Ford) ! L’équipage franco-belge était en passe de terminer la 10e spéciale du Rally of Portugal when a slight hit against a tree twisted the steering of the Ford hybrid. Loubet then hit the embankment on the other side of the road and cannot continue his journey this Saturday. He will try to start again on Sunday but his chances of finishing in the top 5 are slipping away.
Le meilleur temps a encore été signé par Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota), lequel s’échappe en tête de la compétition. Il dispose de 45 secondes d’avance sur Dani Sordo (Hyundai) qui doit surveiller le retour de ses équipiers Esapekka Lappi et Thierry Neuville in his mirrors.
The next special, Felgueiras 1, 8,91 km, is scheduled for 11:35 a.m.
