Jean-Marie Cuoq (Citroën C4 WRC) at the end of the four courses of the first stage of the 66th Rally Lyon-Charbonnières, the Rontalon special? St Sorlin (SS4) having been canceled for safety reasons. Lionel Baud (Fiesta WRC) remains in second place, 15 seconds behind the leader of the race. The rest of the top five is unchanged with David Salanon's Ford still in third position, eight seconds behind the car in front of him. Pierre Roché (Mini JCW WRC) narrowly retains fourth place for two seconds ahead of the C4 WRC of Pascal Trojani, followed six seconds by the Citroën of Éric Rousset.
