Switched to the DS3 R5 at the start of the season, Jean-Benoît Houssin won the first scratch victory of his career after a long and superb fight with Yves Saint Requier. The withdrawal after SS3 of Bayard had redistributed the initial cards. Saint Requier took the lead for a while before handing it over to the future winner in the last SS of the 1st stage. The next day, the mano a mano started again. The Skoda driver reversed the trend from the start, but Houssin responded and managed to maintain a slim advantage until the finish of the last time.

For the bronze medal, Christiann, with a DS3 WRC rental, topped Wilt in the final sector. Long leader of group N, Debove gave up in the final and offered success to his runner-up, Schulz. In F2000, Wallon won the day after the excursion into a Legrand field and Delgery's mechanical problems. B. Sailly
