On his land, Hernandez had to not give up against Cosson, M. Faucher, Morin and Taveneau. After the first loop, only 1''7 separated him from Cosson, who was determined to make life difficult for him. In the second, the latter raised his voice until he made a mistake on SS8 and found himself 6'' behind the leader. In the next loop, Cosson and Hernandez were almost equal while Morin broke a rim and had to throw in the towel.

Only 1” separated the Faucher-Taveneau duo. At night, in the last loop, Hernandez definitely hit the nail on the head and won for the third time in this event. For his part, Mr. Faucher relegated Taveneau to the foot of the podium. In group A, W. Faucher only showed the rear lights of his 3 S207 to his opponents. Same in group N, where Rambault left only one scratch to Caplan. In F2000, Cartier very quickly made his playmates understand that he was the boss.G. Coëffe
